Tomorrow is the start of virtual Admin Training! I just have a few final housekeeping details for you as you prepare. I hope you'll be able to sleep tonight despite all the excitement and anticipation.


First, have you printed off your packet yet? It'll help, I promise!


Next, this week we'll use a few 3rd party programs for our big workshops. FCA has a special partnership with these great tools that you can take advantage of (but let me be clear: By no means are you required to use these tools).


These programs are:

  1. Canva
  2. Constant Contact


Canva is an industry-leading graphic design software for designing top-notch marketing assets. All the cool kids are using it. 😎


And Constant Contact is an industry-leading email marketing software for designing and sending professional-looking emails. (I'll let you in on a little secret: This email is coming from Constant Contact. 🤫 But of course, you could probably already tell that, since it is dripping with professionalism.💩)


So, here are some instructions on what to do next:

  1. Shout, "Oh yeah!" and give a hearty fist-pump if you already have access to these tools through FCA. If you don't, proceed to #2 below.
  2. Email or IM your supervisor to see if he or she already has an account. If he or she does, then make sure you can get access to said account. It's totally legit to share it with your supervisor.
  3. If your supervisor is without an existing account, but you would like to opt in you can learn more about these opportunities below. After signing up, make sure you can get access (which shouldn't be too hard).
  4. If you do not already have access to an account and don't care to opt in, then know that you are really hurting my feelings unnecessarily. 😭 JK, I'm cool with that, I'm just going to try really hard to convince you this week.
