MANDATORY EDUCATION MODULES

COMPLETE TWO BEFORE MARCH 15, 2024

Today, JNESO was informed that all members must complete two (2) Mandatory Education Modules before March 15th, 2024.

On the VLS, members will find:

  • Immediate Use Compounding and Aseptic Technique Training
  • USP 800 Federal Regulations: Hazardous Medication Management: Nursing Responsibilities

Each module should take about 30 minutes. If possible, these modules may be completed during working hours.

If you are unable to complete the modules during your hours of work, you may complete them at home and add education time to your API.

If members are unable to complete the mandatory education because they are out of work for issues such as a Leave of Absence, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, or any reason that will not allow them to return back to work before March 15th, 2024, contact your supervisor in-writing, immediately.

In the past, Virtua has disciplined members for failure to complete Mandatory Education and Competencies by the mandated date. Failure to comply will begin with a written discipline or progress to the next level step on the discipline scale up to termination.
