HOME CARE RVE DOCUMENTATION (UPDATE)

During negotiations, Home Care nurses provided feedback on RVEs and how it affects their daily work product. Below is what the negotiating team achieved based on that feedback.

IN ADDITION, ADDED LANGUAGE TO THE CONTRACT MADE CLEAR PROCESSES FOR DOCUMENTATION:

  • Syncing must be done at the end of each visit, even if documentation is not completed.


  • To decrease the Field Nurses on-call, Two Salaried on-call positions with 7 days on and 7 days off, and scheduled up to 105 hours every two weeks, will be posted. This position will be offered to all staff first and then to those outside the facility. The nurses will go to all counties.


  • The field nurses will take on-call, as the secondary nurse, on a rotating basis and will also cover all counties, Call-outs, vacations, and LOA.


  • The minimum daily Productivity for 8-hour and 10-hour employees has not changed.



  • Picking up supplies at the office between patients should count as office time.
