REGISTRATION FOR 2015 VIPER 640 NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP NOW OPEN

Registration for the 2015 Viper North American Championship opened just after midnight last night and there are already 11 boats registered. To be sailed out of the historic Larchmont Yacht Club from Thursday, October 15 - Sunday, October 18, this is not a regatta to be missed. With a fleet of over 40 boats expected to be sailing, and the promise of reliably strong October Long Island Sound winds, the best Viper sailors from across the country and around the world will be on hand competing for this year's title.

A full schedule of racing has been set and the social calendar continues to be embellished whereby this event is striving to raise the bar for a Viper regatta...even compared to the spectacular event Alamitos Bay Yacht Club ran last year. In short, this is the regatta you'll want to be part of.

Housing information also posted with a list of area hotel rooms (including hotel rooms on site at LYC) and contact information for housing requests with area sailors, all available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you register this week, we will guarantee you housing if you request it. Let's see if we can't exceed 25 boats registering on the very first day!

Sept. 5-6: Fishers Island Sound Viper Invitational - a race around historic Fishers Island Saturday, with a party at exclusive Fishers Island Yacht Club Saturday night with the 70+ other boats likely to be in attendance, followed by one design racing just for Vipers in Fishers Island Sound Sunday.
