The DeForest Handy Helpers 4-H Club is hosting a hike at the Token Creek Conservancy to give people the opportunity to explore this great area in the community. You are invited to the Culver Site, 3667 Egre Rd., of the Token Creek Conservancy, on June 21, 2023 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm to hike. There will be flameless candles lining the trails. | |

New Three-Way Stop Coming at Southern Intersection of Revere Pass and Forest Park Drive
Per Ordinance 2023-12, effective Saturday, June 24, 2023, with stop sign install occurring the following week, there will be a three-way signed stop at the Southern intersection at Revere Pass and Forest Park Drive.

Reduced Speed on Wernick Road between County Road V and Manthe Road
Per Ordinance 2023-11, effective Saturday, June 24, 2023, with speed limit sign install occurring the following week, Wernick Road speed limit will be reduced from 55 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour.

Brush should be out by 7 am on Monday, July 3 for Public Works staff to pick up. Please note there is no set day of when your brush collection will be picked up within the week.

Where: Windsor Community Park, 6570 Pederson Crossing Blvd., DeForest, WI 53532
Who: All are invited to join the Village of Windsor for a movie showing of Encanto. Admission is free. Free popcorn will be served with the movie (while supplies last). Don't forget to bring blankets, chairs and bug spray!
Food Carts: Before the movie there will be food trucks ($) starting at 5:30 pm. Serving will be Any Street Grill, Thailand in a Truck and Frios Gourmet Pops.

Windsor's Windy Kite Festival When: Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Where: Windsor Sports Commons, 4174 County Highway V, DeForest, WI 53532
Who: All are invited to join us for a day of kite flying with the members of the Wisconsin Kiters Club showing their amazing kites. There will be kite making and other activities for kids, with concessions available to purchase.
Hosted in partnership with the DeForest Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce.

Fireman's Park is under construction to add off-street parking, a large shelter with restrooms, concession and storage, pickle ball court, half-court basketball, new playground equipment and path system connections. | |
Windsor Rd., from Charlie Grimm Rd. to the Interstate bridge, is being reconstructed. This joint project with the Village of DeForest involves removal and replacement of pavement and curb and gutter (as necessary), excavation to replace water, sanitary, and storm sewer mains, addition of gravel base and replacement of driveway aprons (as necessary). The Yahara River bridge is also being replaced. | |
