Windsor Road: With Windsor Road back open, many have asked "Why wasn't Windsor Road, from Charlie Grimm to CTH CV also reconstructed when it was torn up this year?" That is a great question! The answer is because Windsor applied for, and will receive, Federal Funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Program to replace the pavement and install a 10' wide multi-use path on that section of Windsor Road. Construction is scheduled for 2025. Construction costs are funded with up to 60% federal funding up to a funding limit of $840,007, and the Village agreed to provide the remaining 40%. The funding did not include any utility work, so we needed to complete that portion ahead of the road construction project. The Village will be working on the engineering design of the project and bidding in 2024.

New 4-Way Stop: The intersection of Portage Road and Mueller Road will now be a 4-way stop. Public Works staff installed the stop signs on Mueller Road today.

Recycling Center Hours: Starting in December, the Recycling Center will move to winter hours. The Recycling Center at 4160 CTH V is only open the first Saturday in December from 8 am to 4 pm. The Brush Site at 4035 Mueller Road will be open the third Saturday of December from 8 am to 4 pm.
