Village of Windsor Update - Cops-N-Bobbers, Hydrant Flushing, Last Weekend for Electronic Recycling

Upcoming Event

Join the Windsor Deputies for a free community event that allows children the opportunity to fish with local law enforcement. Fishing poles, bait and supplies will be provided; however, if you have your own fishing pole we encourage you to bring it.

When: Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 9 am
Where: Token Creek Conservancy Ponds; 6356 Portage Rd. Parking is available on the grassy area south of the ponds or at Old Mill Site Parking lot, 6394 Portage Rd.
Who: Children 15 years of age and under (must be accompanied by an adult)
RSVP: Email kadie@windsorwi.gov by May 28 and note if you will need to borrow fishing poles.

Thank you to the Wisconsin Conservation & Education Foundation for granting funds to purchase supplies for this event.

This event will comply with the current emergency order in effect by Public Health Madison & Dane County.

Hydrant Flushing

Please be advised the Windsor Utility Department will be flushing hydrants as time and weather permits. As a result of the flushing procedures, residents in the immediate vicinity of the work area may experience temporary discoloration and pressure changes. This discoloration consists primarily of harmless silt and precipitates and does not affect the safety of the water.

Final Weekend for Spring Electronic Recycling

This is the last weekend for 2021 Spring Electronic Recycling at the Windsor Recycling Center. Electronics go to the Recycling Center at 4160 CTH V. The hours for the weekend are listed below:
