Polling Locations: The Village of Windsor has two polling locations on Election Day. To find your polling location, visit MyVote Wisconsin.


In-Person Absentee Voting: Happening now. All in-person absentee voting occurs at the Windsor Municipal Building, 4084 Mueller Rd. In-person absentee voting is available to August 9, 2024; Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm except for August 9, 2024 the office will be open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

2050 Comprehensive Plan Open House

You are invited to participate in a Public Open House on August 19, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Windsor Municipal Building, to learn about the update to the Village of Windsor Comprehensive Plan.


The purpose of the Public Open House is to:

  • Present the Village’s preliminary draft 2050 Comprehensive Plan;
  • Share key issues and opportunities related to the redevelopment and development of the Village; and
  • Provide the general public an opportunity to speak with the Planning Team and Steering Committee.

Windsor Community Blood Drive

The Windsor Police Department, with the American Red Cross, is hosting their 3rd annual blood drive on Saturday, September 21st at the Windsor Police Department. The American Red Cross has communicated that they are in critical need for blood.


Signing up to donate is easy using the Online Sign-Up. All presenting donors will get a $15 gift card via email and snacks, juice, bottled water and more!

Explore the Token Creek Conservancy

The Village of Windsor recently updated our Token Creek Conservancy Map! The map now has mileage noted and the trail colors on the map correspond to the emergency trail marker system.


Please remember that there is no biking in the Token Creek Conservancy, this includes Big Hill. Leashed Dogs are only allowed at the Elmer & Edna Culver Site.

New StoryWalk® Book

The StoryWalk ®, located in Windsor Crossing Conservancy, off of North Towne Rd., has a new book! Since a new school year is right around the corner, the new book is Stanley the Dog: The First Day of School by Bobby Bones.

Cornerstone Community Center 40th Anniversary

The Cornerstone Community Center, which is a hub for DeForest, Windsor and Vienna, fostering independence and well-being for older adults through volunteer opportunities and communal activities, is celebrating their 40th Anniversary this week. The new Windsor Municipal Building, on Windsor Road, is really starting to look like a building! We are anticipating that it will be substantially complete in April 2025.
