Wisconsin Farm Support Program - Current Round Open Through Nov. 29
The Village of Windsor wanted to pass along the below program offered to farmers:
The Wisconsin Farm Support Program provides direct aid payments to farmers, helping them respond to the challenges presented by COVID-19. The Wisconsin Farm Support Program will provide an additional $50 million in direct payments to support Wisconsin's agricultural producers. Producers who are eligible apply through the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR), which works closely with DATCP to administer the program.
Eligible farmers should apply online through DOR. If farmers did not receive a letter and believe they qualify, cannot apply online, or are Spanish- and Hmong-speaking, they should call DOR at (608) 266-2772.The application link opened November 8, 2021 and closes at 4:30 p.m. on November 29.
