The Village of DeForest has announced that it will begin to host the annual 4th of July Celebration in DeForest starting in 2025. This decision comes at the request of the DeForest Windsor Chamber of Commerce, as they transition their organization to focus more on businesses, marking a new chapter in this cherished community tradition.

Hydrant Flushing

The DeForest Water Utility will be flushing fire hydrants periodically from September 3 through October 31, 2024. This may lower your water pressure temporarily. If you experience discoloration during this time frame, please run your cold water for approximately 15 minutes to clear your water line. If you have any questions, please call the DeForest Water Department at 608-846-6751.
