Spring Election and Presidential Preference Vote: April 2nd

Important Dates to Remember!

March 19th: In-person absentee voting starts at DeForest Village Hall during regular business hours.

March 29th: Last day for in-person registration and in-person absentee voting. DeForest Village Hall will be open until 5:00pm.

April 2nd: Election Day! Polls are open 7am - 8pm.
Are you ready to return your absentee ballot you've received by mail?
Certificate envelope must include:
  • Voter's Signature & Date
  • Witness's Signature, Printed Name & Address (Must Include Street, City, Zip)

Ballot must be returned by the voter either by mail or in-person at Village Hall. Any questions, please contact the Village Clerk at 608-846-6751.

Ballots must be returned and received by 8pm on April 2nd, 2024, Election Day.

2024 Dog License
Dog Licensing 2024

The Village of DeForest requires that your dog(s) be licensed before April 1st of each year or within 30 days of acquiring ownership of a licensable dog. Any animal licensed after that date will be subject to a $5.00 late fee along with the regular licensing fee. Online licensing is available or visit us at DeForest Village Hall!

March 31, 2024: Last day to register your dog without a late fee. Visit Dog Licenses to learn more and apply today! Starting April 1st a $5 late fee will be applied.

Park Shelter Rentals
Park shelter rentals can be made a max of one year in advance of the rental date. Park shelters are available for rent May 1 through October 15. Fireman's Park Community Room and Concession area are available for rent year-round.
