Property Assessments & Open Book
2024 notice of assessments will be mailed the week of April 22nd by Associated Appraisal. If you do not receive an assessment letter, your property assessment has not changed. Property owners are encouraged to call Associated Appraisal if you have any questions on how the assessment was determined and the factors that were taken into consideration in arriving at the assessment.

Two important dates to remember:

May 9, 2024: Open Book will be held from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Please call Associate Appraisal at 920-749-1995 to discuss your property assessment.

May 30, 2024: Board of Review will take place from 5:00pm until adjournment at DeForest Village Hall.

Park restrooms have been opened and water fountains have been turned on for the season.
Dogs must be kept on a leash when in parks and other public places.

Public Services
Service Reminders
  • Carts must be placed at curbside by 7:00am on your scheduled day.

  • Cart Placement: Leave 4 feet of space between the carts and 10 feet from any vehicle.

  • All items must fit in the carts with the top closed.

  • Any items not meeting the proper criteria for curbside refuse disposal and recycling will not be removed.
Containers should be set at the edge of the curb in the grass area, or in the driveway if necessary. Containers should not be in the street.
Hydrant Flushing
Public Service Crews will be conducting hydrant flushing April 15th - May 31st, 2024 throughout the Village. Flushing is a routine maintenance procedure meant to clean the water lines.
Flushing may cause a decrease in water pressure, cloudy or discoloration of the water. Please check your water before you use it. If you are experiencing cloudy or discoloration of water, please run your water until it clears up.
