Meaningful Ways To Support Each Other and Our Community

There are a number of upcoming events bringing the opportunity to salute the service of Butler County Veterans. This July, August, September and November will all offer a chance for you to become involved.

The 1st Annual Veterans Appreciation Day as well as our Silent Watch will require volunteers for the events to be a successful. You may register to receive notifications of these opportunities by clicking the button below.

Submit a Veteran Photo

On August 24th we will be holding our 1st Annual Veterans Appreciation Day by honoring past and present Butler County residents who served in the Armed Forces. At this event, a digital banner will be created for display at Rivers Edge. To submit your photo to recognize yourself or family member, please click the button below to complete the application.

Butler County Fair

Wednesday, July 24 is Butler County Veterans Day at the Fair. All veterans with a Butler County Veterans ID card will receive FREE general admission. Stop by our booth and show your ID card to be entered to win a chance at two Diamond Seats at an upcoming Cincinnati Reds game, get our '24 t-shirt and more!

Veterans Appreciation Day

Butler County Veterans Service Commission has partnered with Hamilpalooza to offer the 1st Annual Veterans Appreciation Day to be held on August 24 from 12 PM - 8 PM. There will be live entertainment, activities for all ages, a car show, military displays, face painting, balloon art and more!

Silent Watch

In 2023, we lost nine (9) of our fellow Butler County service members to suicide. September 18 we will host our 4th Annual Silent Watch promoting veteran suicide awareness. The event will be 17 hours in duration and have community resources on site. More coming soon.

2024 Veterans Day

Butler County Veterans Service Commission will host the County Veterans Day on November 10 from 6 PM - 8 PM. We will have a catered dinner, celebrate the Butler County Veteran of the Year and have a cake cutting for the Marine Corps Birthday! Make sure you save the date!
