FLASH ALERT -
Update on Verizon Wireless - Issues Calling Certain RingCentral Numbers

As we informed you last week, calls made by people using Verizon Wireless cell phones locally in the Milwaukee / West Bend area still receive an "all circuits are busy" message when calling certain RingCentral customers' numbers.

RingCentral placed test calls using Verizon phones hooked up to Verizon towers in other locations (San Francisco and Minneapolis).  The calls all went thru properly and were routed to RingCentral's network.  This is therefore a confirmed local telephone routing issue, not an issue with RingCentral's network service.

When some of our customers attempted to contact Verizon Wireless about this issue late last week, Verizon customer service representatives brushed it off as not an issue with their network.  We were also not able to talk to Verizon on our customer's behalf as we are not Verizon customers.

To aid our customers in this issue, P3C Technologies activated a new Verizon Wireless phone today (after about 2 hrs of working with Verizon customer service because the phone would not activate) and found that the same problem occurred on this phone when calling the impacted RingCentral numbers.

We were able to open a ticket with Verizon Wireless 3rd tier tech support and were promised contact back within 24 hrs.  In that ticket number, we included all impacted RingCentral numbers that we were aware of along with impacted Verizon Wireless callers.

That ticket number is 000-073-489-83.  Should you call in to also report the issue with your Verizon service (1-888-890-3721), please reference this ticket number.  Or, if Verizon gave you a ticket number, please send that thru to us so we may group the issues together with Verizon tech support.

If you have any immediate questions you need me to answer, or if you need me to contact Verizon on your behalf, you may reach me via email or my main direct dial 262.385.6374.

Thank you.
