Giving Kids the Advantage

Inge Jacobs has devoted her career to serving the needs of at-risk and special education students through positions in educational organizations throughout the Capital District.

She spent almost twenty years as Director of Special Education for the Albany and HFM BOCES, as well as ten years as a school social worker in Schenectady. Inge has always felt that education is one of the best opportunities for leveling the playing field for children and for providing them with opportunities to maximize their potential and realize their "best selves". 

Since retiring from full time work, Inge has consulted with non-profits and school districts on improving program outcomes for students.

She is excited to be on the Board of

15-LOVE and is excited about the opportunities the organization provides to the community.

Mike began his professional career in 2014 as an underwriter at Philadelphia Insurance Company.

He soon transitioned to their marketing team where his primary responsibility was new business production. Mike helped their Boston office grow many of the company’s niche verticals, most notably in the real estate, non-profit, and public services products. 

Mike joined NFP in 2020 as an advisor with a focus in both P&C and employee benefits. He has a bachelor’s in finance from Providence College and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Mike is an enthusiastic member of the community and now resides in Troy, New York with his wife LeeAnn and their dog Severus.
