The Valero Benicia Refinery distributed $550,000 to local charities from funds raised through the Valero Texas Open (VTO). This year the tournament and associated events, including the Valero Benefit for Children (BFC), generated a record-breaking $23 million in net proceeds for charitable organizations across the country.
“Across the U.S., hundreds of BFC-recipient charities are positively impacting thousands of lives, and all for one purpose - to make a difference for children,” said Josh Tulino, Vice President and General Manager of the Valero Benicia Refinery. “We’re proud to partner with these agencies and work together to improve children’s lives right here in Solano & Contra Costa County.”
Local 2023 Valero Benefit for Children recipients are:
• Bay Area Crisis Nursery Services
