Allen Middleman, Senior Vice President at Freedom Mortgage, works closely with senior management within the Freedom Mortgage Wholesale Division and the core corporate management team to develop and implement success strategies and support the mortgage broker community.
Mr. Middleman consults on various policies, procedures, and projects; represents Freedom Mortgage at industry events and serves on a number of nonprofit mortgage association boards in support of Freedom Mortgage’s vision of “Fostering Home Ownership in America”.

Mike Kortas is the Chief Executive Officer of NEXA Mortgage. Mike has more than 20 years of mortgage experience and has served multiple roles from Loan Originator, Team Leader, Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Vice President in previous positions.
NEXA Mortgage was founded in 2017 by Mike Kortas as a co-founder, with the single goal of becoming the best place for all Independent Loan Officers to work at. Under Mike's leadership the company has grown to be the #2 Mortgage Broker in only 2 years time and is on pace to be the largest mortgage company serving Independent Loan Officers.
Before serving the Loan Officers of NEXA Mortgage, Mike has been recognized as a top Loan Originator with volume that places him within the Top 1% nationwide. Building teams and other company ventures is something that Mike has excelled at.
Mike currently resides in Arizona with his wife and 3 children.

Valerie Saunders currently serves as President for the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB).
With 30 years of experience in the mortgage and title insurance industry, she is also the Vice President of RE Financial Services, Inc., a Florida mortgage broker business, and President of Title ClearingHouse of Jacksonville, a Florida licensed title insurance company.
In addition, she has been a course writer and instructor for loan originator continuing education for 20 years.
She previously was President of the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals from 2008-2009 and 2012-2013. During her presidency, she spearheaded a successful effort to rewrite Florida's Mortgage Brokerage and Lending Law (FS494) to deregulate the statute and make it easier for loan originators to comply with the state's rules and regulations.
In 2012, Valerie was selected by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to serve on a SBREFA panel to discuss proposals concerning loan originator compensation, pricing concessions and MLO training and qualifications. She also was selected in 2022 to serve on a CFPB SBREFA panel focusing on appraisals and automated valuation models (AVMs).
Recently, she has received several industry awards including MPA Elite Women of 2023 and 2024; MPA 2023 Mortgage Global 100; Inman Best of Finance Award for 2023 and the 2023 20/20 Vision for Success Women with Vision Award.
