News From the Cellar & Vineyard

News From the Cellar

The crew has been busy cleaning tanks and barrels. Derrick also was checking our wines using chromatography. It is a way we qualitatively check malic, tartaric and lactic acid in wine. Doing these types of tests brings us closer to bottling our wine and getting to your table!

Meet the Team!!

Our new Winemaker Chaz started this week! We are grateful to have him on board! Chaz comes to us with over 13 years of experience in winemaking and vineyard management. He moved his family here from Weston, Missouri! Welcome to northern Michigan, Chaz!

With the mild winter, we have been pruning as much as we can! We are about 30% done with the vineyard.
