JULY MISSION PROJECT
Our mission team is trying to encourage us to engage in mission on a more frequent basis, not that we will be sending groups to far-flung places all the time, but that we would always have opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others.

This month we are joining with other churches across our district to fill back-to-school backpacks for the Methodist Children’s Home School. Please pick up one or more of the items from the list below and bring them to church by the 23rd of July. The district clergy and families will gather on the 24th to assemble the bags.

Requested Items:
- 3-ring binders with interior pockets          - wide-ruled notebook paper
- writing tablets for primary grades                   - composition notebooks
- pencil boxes or pouches                                    - dry-erase markers
- highlighters                                                           - crayons
- markers                                                                  - colored pencils
- #2 pencils                                                              - pens (black or blue)
- erasers                                                                    - glue sticks
- pocket folders                                                       - school scissors
Let’s help equip our children at the Home for a great school year!
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES IN SESSION

We have had a great first two sessions of combined adult Sunday school classes! The classes will continue every Sunday in the Sanders room at 10 am through August 6th.

Snacks and coffee are provided, and the class will center around the book Questions Jesus Asked: A Six Week Study in the Gospels.

We would love for you to join us in worship and study!
