Our mission is to serve those who served by helping you build success beyond service. We have some exciting events, workshops, and resources available to help you do just that. As a program member you are entitled to receive a monthly stipend, if you meet the requirements. These requirements include attending at least 2 events, workshops, tutoring sessions, and an enrichment trips. Volunteer or/and donating items such as clothes, food, or school supplies also counts as participation towards receiving a stipend. In this webinar on Saturday, August 3 and Saturday, August 10 at 12PM-1PM we will cover topics such as a Final Wishes Plan, Advanced Medical Directives, Power of Attorney, creating a Last Will & Testament, and a Living Trust. Technology Based Tutoring: Get 1:1 Tech Support

We have partnered with Whatley Technology Services to offer our program members technology based tutoring. This opportunity is for beginners and end users seeking assistance with basic computer queries, email functions, Microsoft Suite and more. You can drop in during the hours listed to get your questions answered and get personalized guidance and support to enhance your tech knowledge and efficiency. 

Take Your Finances to Another Level with Navy Federal Credit Union

Join us for an introduction to personal finance! We will review budgeting and saving, mortgages, credit, and more! You can join us in-person or virtually for these workshops on Thursday, August 8 at 10AM-11AM or Thursday, August 22 at 6PM-7PM. At our Veterans Education Resource Center, light refreshments will be provided.

Boost Your Tech Skills with Our Computer Skills Workshops

Whether you’re a newbie navigating the digital world or a seasoned pro looking to brush up on the fundamentals, these workshops are tailored to you. You can join us virtually via zoom on Tuesday, August 13 at 6PM-7PM or/and Tuesday, August 27 at 11AM-12PM. Boost your computer skills in an interactive setting with the guidance of Dakota Whatley and master essential computer tools effortlessly. 

Upcoming Enrichment Trip: Atlanta Dream VS Indiana Fever Basketball Game at State Farm Arena

This month we're heading to State Farm Arena on Monday, August 26th to the Atlanta Dream take on the Indiana Fever! The game starts at 7:30PM. Food and transportation are included but we have limited space available. You will be contacted with more details about pick up locations and times. Join us for this game!

We are hosting an End of Summer Palooza with the KSU TRiO programs at Hiram, East Paulding, Rome, and Cedartown High Schools. This event will be held on Saturday, September 21st at Sara Babb Park in Dallas, Ga.

Mark Your Calendar to join us for a day of family fun filled with a Kickball Tournament, Jump Houses, Games, Free Food, a Live DJ, Face Painting, and More! This is a free event for program members and your family, with exciting activities for all ages.
