A LETTER FROM
ANDREA EVANS, CEO
Through your charitable contribution, we were able to help children and their foster parents ease back into the new school year. Staff and educators at the Ranch are providing education at the school there.
We are so thankful for all of you who help us. From this time, until the end of the year, we incur so many additional expenses.
Today, I heard a verse of scripture from Isiah 61:1-We are to bring glad tidings to the poor, release prisoners, and heal the broken hearted. It reminded me of our children, youth, and young adults who are in so much need when they come to us. They come to us often with a broken heart, they feel imprisoned needing freedom from their shackles of abuse or crime, or they are poor in spirit for all they have endured.
Part of our mission is to help heal those we serve. Through our faith and dedication to their healing, we unite with them, in their journey of pain, suffering, and sadness, loss of reputation, their past, and even mourning at times. Special care is given through our social workers, mental health professionals and direct care staff. Because of them, broken hearts heal, captives are made free to enjoy a life filled with love, and the poor heal from their place of being invisible. You are a part of all of that too through your prayer and charitable care.
In support of our mission every year, we have a fundraiser. Please see information below.
We continue to think and pray for you. Keep all at VTR in prayer.
