Announcing Anne Claire Conner
Anne Claire joined Virginia Title Center in June in an administrative support role. She is a native of Salem, VA. She received her Bachelors in Psychology from Radford University before moving to Denver, Colorado in 2015. Anne Claire has worked in the hospitality industry for the last seven years in both Virginia and in Colorado. This industry has provided her opportunities to meet wonderful people along with lasting experiences that she truly cherishes. When not at work, Anne Claire enjoys traveling, hiking, live music, and spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Athena. She is excited to be a apart of the VTC Dream Team and looks forward to continue to grow in this new chapter of her life. Please join us in welcoming Anne Claire to the team.
Announcing Chris Cornetto
Chris joined the Virginia Title Center team in June as a Settlement Processor. She is responsible for coordinating and performing all aspects of residential and commercial real estate closings. Chris brings over 20 years of settlement and real estate experience to the team. She strives to provide excellent customer service and make the settlement process as stress-free as possible for all involved. Chris enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, projects around the house and being outdoors in her spare time. Fun fact - Chris and her husband moved from Florida to Bassett, Virginia in 2020 and closed on their new home with Virginia Title Center. Please join us in welcoming Chris to the team.

Profit Margins are Just Going to Get Worse, Lenders Say

Lenders’ profit margin outlook declined in the second quarter of 2021, the third consecutive quarter of pessimism on the profit front, according to Fannie Mae‘s quarterly Mortgage Lender Sentiment Survey.
According to the second-quarter survey, 69% of lenders believe profit margins will decrease in the three months ahead compared to 52% in the prior quarter. Just 19% believe profits will remain the same and 11% believe profits will increase. The decline represented the largest quarterly decline recorded since the survey began in 2014, Fannie Mae said this week. Click HERE to read on.
