VT Seva USA: Empowering Youths

It is a Great Summer for VT Seva youths and adults! A wide range of activities have been done that focus on community service, education, and youth engagement. These activities often include a blend of volunteer work, educational initiatives, and fundraising events to support various causes Our dedicated volunteers not only support the neighboring communities but also ensure their health by participating in walkathons & sports tournaments conducted by many branches. In the month of August, many branches participated in the activities paying tribute to Bharath to celebrate Independence Day.

Tribute to Bharath

VT Seva's "Tribute to Bharath" project is an inspiring initiative that honors India's rich cultural heritage, diversity, and spirit. Through this project, VT Seva aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of India's traditions, history, and values, while also promoting national pride and unity among the youth in the USA. 

VT Seva Detroit, Atlanta & Maryland youths participated in various activities and created infographic posters about Indian Prime Ministers, Presidents, Bharat Ratna Awardees & Social Reformers. Please take a look at this blog for more details.

Summer Internship Success Stories

Empowering Minds and sharing knowledge and skills is the key idea of the VT Seva Summer Internship program. Our youth interns turned passion into action, leaving a legacy of knowledge, service, and empowerment.


This is a shining example of our summer internship program.𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐡𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢 and 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐥𝐚 the dedicated youth volunteers taught violin to students who were eager to learn in the Allampally School. Their enthusiasm inspired her to continue teaching them even after the camp ended.


From Dallas, Meghana remained committed to her students, connecting with them over Zoom to continue their music lessons. These talented students learned to perform the 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦, "𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚," 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.

The 2024 Summer Internship has been completed with 2 sessions. Overall 18 youths from Ohio, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Cary, Virginia, New Jersey, New York & New Hampshire. They all had a very good experience in Jeeyar Gurukulam & Nethra Vidyalaya schools.

Many of our branches are geared to conduct annual events. Annual events are the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of youth and adult volunteers in their branch and raise money to support our beloved Nethra Vidyalaya and Jeeyar Gurukulam students' education. Please join the annual events closer to your location. Your participation will directly impact the causes that VT Seva supports and motivate our youths to provide more service.
