Message from Leadership
We have been continually impressed by the resilience, innovation, courage, and strength exhibited by the healthcare community, our members, and our friends and families. The healthcare industry and its people are sacrificing and working around the clock to develop treatments and processes to improve the patient experience, better the industry, and enhance the impact of healthcare.
The first quarter of 2022 has been quite promising for VSHE. We have increased our membership (over 270 members strong), growth opportunities, and brand visibility (are you following us on LinkedIn?). As you may have noticed, there have been a few changes that we’ve been making in an effort to better serve you including but not limited to:
- We have new faces on our 2022 Board of Directors
- Annual sponsors are on a calendar year cycle (January through December)
- The Annual Conference and Golf Tournament is back and better than ever this year on May 2 in beautiful Roanoke
Certainly, the past couple of years have dealt some blows, but VSHE and our members continue to thrive - focusing on growth, strength, perseverance, and making a positive impact. As we look forward into 2022 and a “return to normalcy”, we believe that we will come out of this stronger — together.
We encourage each and every member to get the most out of your membership this year. This includes reaching out to other members for deeper connections, inviting friends and colleagues to events, and using events to grow your personal or professional networks.
