Message from Leadership
This newsletter comes to you as the end of summer looms, and what a summer it has been! The VSHE community has been incredibly active with a mix of social and education programs hosted across all of our Districts. In May we held our 12th Annual Conference and Golf Tournament, with over 300 professionals coming together to network, learn, and advance healthcare engineering across the Commonwealth of Virginia. With 50+ representatives from more than a dozen hospitals and health systems, we facilitated three days of education and relationship building across our community.
Last month we were proud to bring home the Platinum Elite Chapter Award, the highest award level bestowed by ASHE recognizing our contributions and commitment to the national organization. What a great honor, and a testament to the hard work so many have given to the success and growth of our Chapter.
We’ve accomplished an impressive amount over the last 8 months, but the year isn't over yet - we've got great content coming to you from each of our Districts in addition to our upcoming Fall seminar (registration is open now!).
As always, the strength of this Chapter relies on the engagement we get from YOU, and so we hope you’ll make it a personal goal to get involved. Contributing content, promoting membership, attending events…these are all ways that we can continue to strengthen the value of VSHE.
So, whether you’re sneaking in one last beach trip or getting the kids ready for back-to-school, we wish you a fantastic end to your summer and look forward to seeing you this Fall!
