Cook County is at a crossroads, the current Cook County Board President has failed to keep us safe. Gun violence, car jackings, retail thefts and other crimes have terrorized our neighborhoods. Our children are dying in the streets at alarming rates. I have a track record as a county commissioner of following my conscience and putting people ahead of politics. I stand on that record.

IT'S TIME FOR REAL CHANGE

The current County Board President has not been honest with us. President Preckwinkle rode into office in 2010 on the promise to repeal a county sales tax hike, then a few years later turned course and raised the sales tax to make it the highest in the nation.

President Preckwinkle ran for office in the 1990’s as a reformer against the Democratic machine and now she is the leader of the machine. Her lack luster leadership is crushing working class families and businesses in Cook County. After 12 years, President Preckwinkle has done all she can do. It is time for REAL change!
