Friends,
Election Day 2022 is rapidly approaching, and your vote is more critical than ever. With the balance of power in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives up for grabs, with new state legislative districts in North Carolina, and with state Supreme Court and Court of Appeals seats on the ballot, your vote has never been more important.
Early in-person voting ends Saturday, November 5, at 3 p.m. If you’ve requested a mail-in absentee ballot, get it in the mail before Tuesday, November 8. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by November 8. And don’t forget that Election Day polls are open Tuesday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
If your legislative district has changed due to redistricting and you want some information on the candidates, reach out to me and I’ll be happy to provide some information. You can reach me at roylee@ncpork.org.
I know hog farmers take the responsibility of voting very seriously. The 2022 elections NEED your input. Please get out and vote, and take your spouse, your parents, your neighbors or anyone else who is eligible to vote.
