VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED
Are you looking for a way to be involved or support your alma mater? CFA Society Baltimore is seeking volunteers for three upcoming university events this April. These events are a great way to provide students with information about the impact earning a CFA Charter could have on their careers.


VIRTUAL: CFA Society Baltimore Career Day
Friday, April 5, 2024 | 2:00 - 3:00 PM

On Friday, April 5, 2024, 2:00 - 3:00 PM, CFA Society Baltimore will hold a virtual career day for local university students interested in pursuing careers in finance. This event is open to all university students at any point in their academic career.

We are seeking 5-6 investment professionals willing to provide students with a short 6-7 minute presentation outlining their role and responsibilities on a day-to-day basis, followed by time for Q&A. We would like to have professionals in various roles, including buy-side, sell-side, and portfolio managers.

IN-PERSON: CFA Institute & George Mason University
Friday, April 5, 2024 | 1:00 - 3:30 PM

On Friday, April 5, 2024, CFAI and GMU will hold a joint event for approximately 50 students at George Mason University. The event with be focused on the CFA Program and some of the new changes that have been introduced(Evolve), followed a panel of CFA's talking about their experience in the CFA Program and how it has helped them in their career.

IN-PERSON: University of Maryland at College Park
Tuesday, April 16, 2024 | 5:00 - 6:00 PM

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, several student organizations from the University of Maryland, College Park, will hold a collective event focusing on CFA Charterholders.

Students from these finance organizations/clubs are in the various phases of their college journey and would like to hear from professionals sharing details on their paths to earning a Charter and how it has benefited their careers.
