Narnia Forest

Fourth grade artists revisited the works of Wassily Kandinsky, a Russian artist born in the 1800s and credited as a pioneer of abstract works. Assembled together, they made this beautiful Narnia forest, complete with Mr. Tumnus and a warm glowing lamp post to help commemorate their reading of C.S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

A job well done on this collaborative masterpiece!

Lessons & Carols

Join us on Thursday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m. for our annual Lessons & Carols event. It is a beautiful time of worship, including festive music and readings, led by our students. Grammar School students should arrive to their classroom between 6:00 and 6:15 p.m.

The event will be held at Fletcher First Baptist Church. Please join us for a Hot Cocoa reception hosted by PTF in the VCA cafeteria, immediately following the event.

Additionally, PTF is looking for volunteers to help serve Hot Chocolate and cookies. If you are interested in helping, please sign up here.

PTF Love Offering

Dear Veritas Community,

Glory to God in the Highest! His blessings are so abundant each day. God has truly blessed our Veritas families with the BEST teachers and staff.

As we head into a season of sharing our love and appreciation for those around us, with the spirit of giving in unity we would like to kick off our Annual Christmas Love Offering.

The Annual Christmas Love Offering program was created to help our busy Veritas families by simplifying holiday school gift shopping while blessing each Veritas staff member with a unified gift of appreciation and love. Through the years, this has become a cherished tradition.

Participation is completely optional. As you choose to participate this year, for your convenience we have added an online giving option. You may also write a check or send cash in an envelope labeled “Love Offering.” Please make checks payable to VCA PTF with “Love Offering” in the memo line.

All gifts should be turned in to the office or online no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8th.

Please also consider lifting all our VCA teachers and staff in prayer this season, taking a few names each day will allow you to cover the whole list with love. We encourage your children to send in homemade Christmas cards. If your family would like to send in cards for specific teachers and staff, please be sure the person’s first and last name is on the outside of the cards. Cards will be collected, sorted, and packaged to be delivered with the Christmas Love Offering by PTF elves before winter break.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact Nichole Bishop (nbishop.gm@gmail.com).

We wish you a blessed Holiday Season!
