Vallejo, CA - On March 31, 2024, at around 7:48 A.M., the Vallejo Police Department received a report of a burglary that happened in the 500 block of Georgia Street. The victim was present at the time of the incident and was subsequently restrained and sexually assaulted by an unknown male suspect.
The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division took over the investigation and with the help of the community, identified Jashawn Germany as a lead in the case.
On April 4, 2024, Jashawn Germany was taken into custody on an unrelated parole warrant. After further investigation, he was identified as the perpetrator of the listed burglary and sexual assault.
On 04/19/24, additional charges of kidnapping and rape were placed on Germany, who is currently in custody at Solano County Jail.
