MiTeGen - Innovations For Crystallography and Cryo-EM

A New Era is Emerging at Facilities

In an editorial at IUCrJ, Dimitri Argyriou examines how the pandemic and AI are changing how large-scale scientific facilities operate. This includes increased remote user participation and a shift towards a hybrid model. While AI tools are accelerating this trend, hands-on training and in-person collaboration remain irreplaceable.

In December of last year, ALBA Synchrotron's newest beamline XAIRA obtained its first protein diffraction data set. Our MiTeGen loops and bases were used in this research. The image above provides a view of the sample environment. In the center of the image and on the top of the diffractometer is the base and loop.

Did you know that we provide bases and loops for most crystallography-related beamlines generally doing X-ray diffraction? Need help selecting the right base and loop combination for your research? Contacts us and we'll help you make the selection. Or visit our beamline guides at the button below to find your beamline and our recommended bases and loop.
