State Announces Small Business COVID Relief Grant Program

The second round of Small Business Grants is now available from the State of California.

Applications for Grants up to $25,000 opened yesterday (December 30th, 2020) and close on

January 8th, 2021. These Grants can be applied for at no cost and do NOT have to be repaid.

The Grant amounts for eligible businesses are based upon annual revenues as shown in your

most recent tax return. Grant amounts are based upon revenues at one location as follows:

Revenues of $1,000 to $100,000: Grant Amount Available = $5,000

Revenues of $100,000 to $1,000,000: Grant Amount Available = $15,000

Revenues of $1,000,000 up to $2,500,000: Grant Amount Available = $25,000

To be eligible, you must:

Be a “small business” with yearly gross revenue between $1,000 and $2.5 million.
Have been operating since at least June 1, 2019.
Be currently operating or have a clear plan to reopen when permitted.
Be impacted by COVID-19 and the restrictions which have occurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Provide documents regarding the organization of your business.
Apply only once if you have multiple business entities, franchises, and locations.

IT’S IMPORTANT THAT YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION BY JANUARY 8th, 2021.
