FEBRUARY 2021
Important Research Articles Published

Our Director of Research, Thomas Rasmussen, PhD, MSc, CST-D recently had his scientific paper published!

A study exploring rhythmic oscillations of the human head was published in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies entitled Direct Measurement of the Rhythmic Motions of the Human Head Identifies a Third Rhythm by Thomas Rosenkilde Rasmussen and Karl Christian Meulengracht.

This case report illustrates the treatment outcomes of a collegiate athlete presenting with an 18-month history of post-concussion syndrome who received a series of mixed manual therapies in isolation of other therapy.
Safety is Always #1

The health and safety of our students, instructors and staff remain our top priority. Implementation of safety precautions and protocols according to local, state and national regulations are adhered to in our classrooms, office space and clinics to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Post-COVID-19
Patient Survey

We conducted a survey with CS2/VM2 alumni asking if they have patients who have had COVID-19.  We asked about symptoms and manual therapy.

We have heard good things about how our manual therapies help these patients. 319 answers came in for “What outcomes have your COVID-19 patients reported from the manual therapy session(s)?” Here’s what we found:

  • Less anxious: 75%
  • Better energy level: 75%
  • Better sleep: 63%
  • Better clarity of thought: 60%
  • Less headaches: 60%
  • Less depression: 28%
  • Better appetite: 15%
CST Helps Client
Post COVID-19

“Tad Wanveer, thank you for providing with grace and kindness a body of knowledge and elegant technique that is immediately applicable. Here is the feedback from a client 30 days out from onset of covid-19 symptoms:

‘I’m totally into your new
cranial sacral brain work. I’ve continued to feel calmer today. First chunk of time without racing, anxious thoughts since Covid affected my brain. Thanks so much.’”
