GSS Goes To The Philippine Permaculture Conference!

12th Annual Hybrid Nourish Celebration, a Success!

Thanks to our generous donors, wonderful speakers, community supporters, and lively attendees. Nourish was a huge success because of each of you!

We also surpassed our fundraising goal of $20,124
from 65 generous supporters!

Here are some highlights from Nourish 2022:

  • We heard from Farmer Jon about regenerative agriculture,
  • Adelwisa shared her story and experience with climate resiliency,
  • We had Philippine youth members display Filipino traditional dancing,
  • And delicious Filipino Food was shared at many of the Watch Parties!

Grant Awarded from the
Conservation, Food & Health Foundation
We are thrilled to share that we have received a $35,000 grant from the Conservation, Food & Health Foundation. This is our third grant from this funder and the largest grant in our history!

Funding will support our core program areas in 2023 including:
  • Expansion of our Integrated, Diversified, Organic, Farming, System (IDOFS).
  • Launching new seed libraries and seed production sites.
  • Hosting at least bi-annual seed swaps for our partners.
  • Focusing on indigenous and heirloom seed production for climate resiliency.

We are grateful and excited to continue our partnership with Conservation, Food & Health Foundation to move our programs forward!
