Farewell, Sr. Barbara!
After 23 years with the parish, Sister Barbara is retiring and returning to her religious order's motherhouse in New York.
Join us Sunday, May 5, at 4PM in the Parish hall for a potluck celebration in honor of Sister Barbara! We will miss you!

Join us for a cup of coffee with the law enforcement officers of Jacksonville! This quarterly, family-friendly event is a great opportunity to get to know the officers who serve our community and ask any public safety questions you may have.
VBS Registration is Open!
Register now for Vacation Bible School! This year we'll be diving into friendship with God from July 29 to Aug 2. VBS is open to participants K-5th and volunteers 6th-adult. Registration is free, but a suggested donation of $5 per child is appreciated.
On April 13, 115 of our children received the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar for the first time! We wish to thank all of our parents, catechists, teachers, and priests for responding to Christ's imperative to let the little children come to Him!
Come Dine With Us!
We raised $371.81 at Panera Bread in April! This month's restaurant day is at Paleteria Deya, a parishioner-owned ice cream shop. On Weds, May 15, from 3-9pm, mention IOP at check-out and Paleteria Deya will donate 25% of sales to the Come Grow With Us campaign!
The Outreach Resource Center will benefit again from this year's Stamp Out Hunger food drive!
On May 11, letter carriers in our area will collect financial contributions and non-perishable food donations during the regular mail pick-up and drop-off. See below for the impact our Food Pantry had in April!
Outreach Resource Center: May Update
In April, the O.R.C. assisted 56 households/147 individuals with 3,291lbs of food from our food pantry. Our food pantry volunteers have generously served 154 hours to assist those in need. We assisted 16 households/50 individuals through our utility assistance program.
Our outreach programs are supported by your donations and the proceeds from the Infant of Prague Thrift Store. When you shop, donate, and volunteer at the IOP Thrift Store, you touch the lives of people in our community!
This year, there are more ways to win than ever! There will be four major drawings and a total of $18,000 in cash prizes. This raffle will benefit the Come Grow With Us campaign.
Youth Ministries
The school year is winding down, but our youth programs will be going strong all summer! Check out the Youth Group (grades 6-12), Troops of Saint George (a father-son scouting apostolate), and the Junior Catholic Daughters (for girls ages 6-18) for active communities your kids will enjoy being a part of!
Steubenville Youth Conference
On July 19-21 at the Steubenville main campus in Ohio, high schoolers will be brought into a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. To register or learn more about this transformative Catholic Youth Conference, contact our Youth Coordinator Trina Wilson.
