Benefits of Selecting Native Plants for Your Yard

Spring is almost here, and plans for a garden refresh might be in the works for some of us.

If you are curious about incorporating native plants into your garden, here are a few different ideas:

Butterfly Gardens: Full of colorful blooms, these nectar-rich plants attract butterflies and other pollinators.

Rain Gardens: Made by forming a shallow depression filled with native wetland plants that thrive in wet conditions, they gather and filtrate rainwater.

Bird Gardens: The plants in these gardens attract beneficial insects that provide nutrition for local birds.
