Plan Ahead for Spring & Summer Projects

Now is an excellent time to plan your spring and summer projects. By submitting your applications now, you can more easily schedule a contractor when it is convenient for you and be in a timely manner when they have limited openings. You will also have more plant material choices and won’t be restricted to what is left at the end of the season.

You have one year from the approval date to complete your project, so start planning and beat the rush.

Remember, all exterior modifications must be applied for and approved by the Design Review Committee. Please contact a Design Review Coordinator with any questions and to schedule an appointment to look over your application.

Winter Reminders

Using Caution Near Oquirrh Lake

As a reminder, please be cautious while around the lake this winter. Keep a safe distance when the lake is frozen over and never walk onto the ice. Anyone found on the ice will be trespassed and subject to amenity suspension.

Please keep children close and ensure pets are always on leash. Finally, remember ice fishing is never permitted on Oquirrh Lake.

For more information on lake safety, please see the video below.

Snow Pushing Reminders

During snow events, South Jordan City requires residents to park on the even side of the street. The Association does not begin snow pushing until the end of a snow event with at least 2” of snow accumulation or more. To stay prepared, please keep a shovel and ice melt handy.

As a reminder, single-family homeowners are responsible for removing snow from the public sidewalks surrounding their homes per South Jordan City Ordinances. Visit the link below for more info.

Alley Concrete Repair

The developer and several of the builders in the Heights Park neighborhood are in the process of making repairs to alleyways. This work is needed before the alleys are turned over to the city for maintenance. This work is understandably inconvenient but is necessary in order for the city to take ownership.

2024 Dog Park Closure Calendar

β€Š

We have a new closure schedule for the Dog Park! To protect the Dog Park and ensure the sustainability of the amenity, the park will close for a week each month to allow the turf to recover. These closures will occur between the 1st and 7th of each month.

Please follow the rules of the Dog Park to ensure that it remains an enjoyable place for all residents and their pets. Also, please be courteous and pick up after your pet.
