Equestrian Facilities at Avenel

The Association previously communicated that WSSC, the owner of the property on which the Equestrian Facilities is located, recently provided the operator with a termination of lease, effective December 1st, 2023.

The Association, along with Natelli Communities (successor to Rock Run, Avenel’s developer) joined together towards working collaboratively with WSSC to secure continuation of the Equestrian Facilities. A meeting among the parties was recently held.

I have heard from many of our residents who are concerned, and understandably distraught at the thought of losing the Equestrian Facilities, that are central to Avenel’s history and identity. As evidenced in our correspondence, we share your sentiments and will continue to actively advocate for the continuation of the equestrian facilities.
