The Mustache Dash 5K is only a few weeks away!

Mustache Dash 5K & Lil' Shavers Fun Run
Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 8 am
Park Place, Leawood, KS

 

Don't miss out on the Mustache Dash 5K & Lil' Shavers Fun Run where you can enjoy wearing a mustache - real or fake! Participants get a fake mustache kit, race shirt, custom bib, and large 5K finisher's medal that doubles as a bottle opener! Kids ages 8 and under can run in the Lil' Shavers Fun Run where they will get a shirt and medal. Before the race there will be a competition for best real mustache, best fake mustache, and best team mustaches! The race is chip timed and benefits Infant Toddler Services of Johnson County. REGISTRATION FEES INCREASE IN A FEW WEEKS FOR ROCK THE PARKWAY HALF MARATHON!

Sign up for the Rock the Parkway Half Marathon/5K, on April 9, 2016, and enjoy a great course, great shirt, great medal and great food and beverages!  You know that you don't want to miss this one!  It is Kansas City's biggest and best half marathon of the year!

September 30, 6 pm - Lee's Summit Hoka Run & Watering Hole Wednesday - Test run Hoka shoes at the groupie run from the Lee's Summit KCRC store (1555 NE Douglas, Lee's Summit, MO) and after the run join us next door at Waldo Pizza. Ribbon cutting for the Lee's Summit KCRC store will be before the run at 4 pm!

October 1, 6 pm - Leawood Hoka Run & Thirsty Thursday - Test run Hoka shoes at the groupie run from the Leawood KCRC store (135th & Roes in Leawood, KS). After the run we will meet on the patio at Barley's Brewhouse!

October 28, 6 pm - Lee's Summit Halloween groupie run and party - Join us for a group run, food, Halloween brew, and a costume contest! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd "best costume". (1555 NE Douglas St, Lee's Summit, MO).

October 29, 6 pm - Leawood Halloween groupie run and party - Join us for a group run, food, Halloween brew, and a costume contest! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd "best costume". (135th & Roe in Leawood, KS).

THE BARSTOW SCHOOL 5K  -  OCTOBER 3, 9 AM - The Barstow School, Kansas City, MO
The fourth annual 5K Run/Walk at Barstow draws participants from the Kansas City running community as well as Barstow students, parents, grandparents and alumni. Along with the 5K race, there will be a Kids Obstacle Course, fabulous pre-race food, Chris Cakes pancake breakfast after the race, fitness demos, health screenings, team prizes and much more. MUDDY UDDER 5 MILE OBSTACLE RUN -  OCTOBER 3, 11:30 AM - Stonegate MotorPlaza, Bucyrus, KS
Presented by the folks that brought you the Running with the Cows Half Marathon, the Muddy Udder 5 mile mud run is sure to be a great time with a handful of fairly easy obstacles throughout that will test your strength and stamina. A s a participant in the 5 mile run you will receive a long sleeve shirt, custom finisher medal, and great post event food and beverages.  Proceeds from the event will benefit  Holy Rosary School  as well as  Save a Warrior .  Learn more and register  here . 

PANERA DIABETES DASH FOR LIFE 5K/10K - OCTOBER 4, 7:30 AM - Town Center, Leawood, KS 
Join us for the Diabetes Dash for Life 5K/10K! All participants get a finisher's medal plus a long sleeve shirt, great food, and age group awards. The race benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to find a cure for Type I Diabetes. Find out more and sign up online here. 

PINK LAUNDRY 5K - OCTOBER 4, 8:00 AM - Lee's Summit City Hall, Lee's Summit, MO
The 7th annual Pink Laundry 5K benefits the Stephanie Vest Foundation. The race features a gorgeous course with fall foliage that meanders through downtown Lee's Summit. OLATHE CHARITIES 5K 
- OCTOBER 10, 9:00 AM - Frontier Park, Olathe, KS
The Olathe Charities 5K is a fun trail-run that brings the community together to support multiple organizations in one great race. The run will take place on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. at Frontier Park. The entry fee includes a shirt, finisher's medal, chip timing, and $20 donation to selected charity. BILL CROSS 5K WALK/RUN FOR BACKSNACKS - OCTOBER  11, 8:00 AM - Zona Rosa, Kansas City, MO
The 5th Annual Bill Cross 5K Walk/Run for BackSnack will be held October 11, 2015 at Zona Rosa. The run is in memory of Bill Cross, former Mayor of Gladstone and a teacher, coach, administrator, mentor and role model for more than 35,000 area students. All funds raised from this event will support Feed Northland Kids which puts food on the table for thousands of Northland kids. Learn more about the organization and race  here. 

LACE UP FOR LEARNING 5K RUN/WALK - OCTOBER 11, 8:00 AM - Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, KS
Participate in the Lace Up for Learning 5K to support scholarships for Johnson County Community College students. As a participant, you will receive a shirt, special gift for all finishers, team pricing, age group awards, and food and beverages. Learn more and sign up here. 

KANSAS CITY MARATHON - OCTOBER 17, 7:00 AM - Washington Square Park, Kansas City, MO
The Kansas City Marathon has a marathon, half marathon, team relay, 5K, and kids run! Participants will receive a shirt, and those in the marathon, half, and 5K will receive a finisher's medal. There will be bands playing live music throughout the course and in the post-race area where you can enjoy great food and a complimentary beer for those 21 and over. 5K WEDDING RUN - OCTOBER 18, 9:00 AM - Emaline Ballroom, Lee's Summit, MO
T he 5K Wedding Run is an event where engaged couples and their friends and family can walk or run just for fun, or perhaps to reach a fitness goal, or even to have a "breaking the ice" event before the big day! MONSTER DASH 5K - OCTOBER 24, 7:00 PM - City Market, Kansas City, MO
Wear your best costume to the Monster Dash 5K and compete in the costume contest before the race! Participants receive a race shirt, finisher's medal, custom bib number and more. Kids ages 8 and under can participate in the Lil' Monsters Fun Run and will get a shirt and fun run medal. The race benefits Newhouse whose mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing the tools which allow women to make positive choices and lead self-sufficient lives. OVERRUN OVARIAN CANCER 5K - OCTOBER 25, 8:30 AM - SouthCreek Office Park, Overland Park, KS
The OVERRUN Ovarian Cancer Foundation is dedicated to changing the face of ovarian cancer through support for better treatment options, and ultimately a cure. Funds raised will benefit much needed ovarian cancer research at The University of Kansas Cancer Center through The OVERRUN Ovarian Cancer Fund, as well as patient advocacy in the KC Metro area.
