“In our world full of strangers, estranged from their own past, culture and country, from their neighbors, friends and family, from their deepest self and their God, we witness a painful search for a hospitable place where life can be lived without fear and where community can be found.” (Henri Nouwen)
The Catholic Health Association of Saskatchewan aims to answer the call for hospitable places, and this year's Convention will offer support, encouragement and tools to help make that possible.
All are most welcome. If you are interested in exploring the spirituality of hospitality in relation to healthcare, and all of its' unique challenges and invitations, please consider participating in this convention.

Zoom Hosts Wanted!
As we continue to offer many programs on zoom, occasionally we are in need of additional zoom hosts. Skills would include starting/recording meetings, sharing screens, showing PP slides and video, spotlighting speakers, using the Chat, and offering basic tech training to participants when needed. If you have these skills and are interested in assisting Queen's House in offering retreats and workshops online as a zoom host, please email Sarah Donnelly, programming@queenshouse.org.
Thank you for considering this invitation!

A Prayer for Ukraine
God of peace and justice, we pray for the people of Ukraine. We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons. We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that your spirit of comfort would draw near to them. We pray for those with power over war or peace: for wisdom, discernment, and compassion to guide their decisions. Above all, we pray for all your precious children at risk and in fear - for the victims and the victimizers. We know you hold all people in your love. We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen.

ROOTS AND WINGS
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
The goal of this capital campaign is to attain $100,000 to match the financial support that we are currently receiving from the religious community who founded and operates Queen's House, the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, and more specifically, our Oblate Lacombe Canada province, through their practical and expressed support for retreat ministry. The funds that we collect through our Roots & Wings Capital Campaign assist us with the ongoing repairs, upgrading and maintenance work of our facility, technology, sound and infrastructure needs.

We are pleased to share with you the excellent programs that are being offered by other retreat centres, schools and individuals...enjoy! | |
