If you are unable to stay at the retreat centre beyond the ending of the retreat on Thursday at 12pm and lunch, please register above to secure booking your bedroom, and then contact Sarah Donnelly, 306-242-1916 x226, and she will adjust your receipt and debit back onto your credit card the outstanding fee that you paid when registering.

For 65 years Queen's House Retreat and Renewal Centre has been providing "sacred space" to many people. A place of hospitality, beauty and quiet, Queen's House welcomes you, whether you are coming for some quiet time by yourself, or meeting with a group of people. All are most welcome!

The University of Alberta offers a free course online - begin any time:

Indigenous Canada is a 12-lesson Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) from the Faculty of Native Studies that explores the different histories and contemporary perspectives of Indigenous peoples living in Canada. From an Indigenous perspective, this course explores complex experiences Indigenous peoples face today from a historical and critical perspective highlighting national and local Indigenous-settler relations. Topics for the 12 lessons include the fur trade and other exchange relationships, land claims and environmental impacts, legal systems and rights, political conflicts and alliances, Indigenous political activism, and contemporary Indigenous life, art and its expressions.

Since February 2019, the three Oblate provinces in Canada have established a collaborative ministry called Le Centre Oblat: A Voice for Justice. The Oblates prioritized work in four areas: ecological justice, reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, solutions to poverty, and challenging unjust practices of some Canadian extractive industries in countries of the Global South. If you would like to receive the Centre’s bilingual, bi-weekly electronic newsletter (monthly during the summer months), simply send a request to centreoblat@omilacombe.ca
