Best Week Ever
Citizen Russell Wenz is definitely having the Best Week Ever after being recognized as the 2021 Sports Outstanding Volunteer Coach by the Missouri Parks and Recreation Association at their annual MPRA Conference!

This coming Saturday, May 1st there will be a Breakfast Fundraiser from 7am-9:30am in support of Ventana Chef, Stephanie Hollis, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Funds raised from the breakfast will go toward her medical costs.
Word on the Street
Wicker's Furniture is closing with the announcement of Steve's retirement this past week! Everything must go so see all items reduced until inventory has been purchased! Congrats, Steve!

This week Broadway Toyz also announced that they would be closing. The store plans to remain open through the month of May.

Excelsior Springs Archaeological Site Study
America's Haven of Health: Hydrotherapy and tourism at Excelsior Springs, Missouri, USA is a new anthropological abstract article written by Daniel E. Pierce, Anthony P. Farace, and Dana M. Lewis who participated in an archaeological dig of the old Regent Springs well site. The article contains their findings and much of the history of our beloved town.
