Stop by the Prohibition: Legendary Bourbon Bar, this Friday, September 23rd for the great acoustic sounds of Sean Poole and Darren Michael. They perform a wide variety of music from Traditional Country, 90s Country, Southern Rock, and a few surprises thrown in so there is something for everyone!
They have performed at a wide variety of venues including festivals, clubs, bars, restaurants, community events, and private parties all over the state of Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Chili-Fest 2022

The Cigar Band presents this year’s Chili-Fest. Teams will compete with their chili recipes for awards such as Judges’ Favorite, People’s Choice, and Best Booth. There will be ice cold Classic Brands and Pepsi products available for purchase. All proceeds help support Rock for Tots, a local non-profit organization.
Admission is $5.00 with kids 12 and younger free. Your admission includes all the chili you can eat from all the booths!

Public Information Meeting regarding the Paint Creek Recreational Trail

The Ross County Park District requests the public’s attendance at an informational meeting regarding the Paint Creek Recreational Trail that will be held on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022. The Board of Directors will provide a brief overview of the challenges facing the Ross County Park District, followed by a presentation of pertinent reports and data relating to the Paint Creek Recreational Trail. The balance of the evening will be devoted to a comprehensive question and answer/public input session.
The meeting will be held at the Christopher Conference Center, 20 N. Plaza Blvd. Chillicothe, Ohio from 5:30 until 7:00 pm. The event will also be live-streamed online via Zoom. Join Adena Mansion & Gardens on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 9 AM-5 PM and on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 9 AM-4 PM, the Brigade of the American Revolution will be hosting a Revolutionary War Reenactment.
Enjoy the activities on the hill such as Unit Drills, Rifle Demonstrations, Mock Battles, 18th Century Cooking, and begin the process of finding your Revolutionary War ancestor at the Information Table with the Daughters of the American Revolution, and more. Activities will go on throughout the day in addition to the daily schedule.
The Event is FREE with single day parking fee of $10 and two day parking fee of $15.

Watch you neck at Southern Ohio's most beloved Halloween attraction!
Join us at Haunted Mountain this October as we present stories from a Vampires Assistant, his collection of curiosities trail, and his escape room challenge! Our play finds an aging jaded theatre critic recounting his obsession with a young actress, and how that obsession leads to a journey into a macabre world of vampires from which he almost can’t escape. Box office, escape rooms and pub open at 6:30. The play begins at 7:30. Haunted Trail and escape rooms open following the performance. Last call for trail and escape rooms at 11PM. Performance lasts approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes. VIP tickets include escape room and trail experience, and are extremely limited. We can’t wait to hear you scream!
This interactive night of entertainment will be like nothing you've ever experienced!
Also: Tarot card reading and tomahawk throwing with both be available beginning at 6:30 pm each night. There is an additional fee for these experiences and they are done on a first come first serve basis.

The Chillicothe Halloween Festival is a three-day festival celebrating the fun of Halloween and the fall season. The festival offers a wide variety of merchandise vendors, food and concession trucks, bands and entertainment, Haunted Tent, Pumpkin Weigh Off, inflatables, games, displays, and contests. Take part in a costume contest for chance to win prizes, or sit back and watch the annual Coffin Races! Watch as homemade soapbox-derby style coffins race for the title and monetary prizes. There’s something for everyone at the festival and plenty of family-friendly activities to make a fun weekend celebrating the season.
