Spring is upon us! Join ASCE Maryland Younger Member Group in a fun springtime service activity! We are joining Patapsco Heritage Greenway to clean up the headwaters of the Herbert Run.
The YMG will provide lunch for our attendees, after the event.

We had a wonderful time at the ASCE Maryland Section Career Fair on February 8th! Our Vice President Leslie, Secretary Alyssa, Treasurer Tony, and Membership Chair Moses represented the YMG at this event. It was so great to meet students from Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland College Park, Morgan State University, and the United States Naval Academy. We were really excited to connect with students, Younger Members, and Section leaders alike. Join us again in the Fall for the next Maryland Section Career Fair!
Future City International Competition Recap
We are so excited that the Future City International competition was held in our backyard - Washington, D.C.! Our YMG Secretary Alyssa Sooklal, as well as Maryland Section Director Clint Martin, volunteered as judges at the event on Monday, February 20th. We can't wait to find out who won (to be announced on at 2 PM EST on Tuesday, February 21st). And we hope to continue to volunteers as judges at the regional and international competitions, in the future!

Calling all ASCE Maryland Younger Members! Did you win an ASCE Maryland, Regional, or National award while you were a "Younger Member"? We are building our Awards page with details on ASCE award winners of Maryland, specifically since 2015 (the year our YMG was created). If you are a dues-paying ASCE Maryland member who won an ASCE award between 2015 and 2023 as a Younger Member, please email us at ym@ascemd.org.
