Sixteen outstanding eduators have officially been selected as finalists for the 2024-2025 Alabama Teacher of the Year Award...including TWO educators from Enterprise City School System!


We'd like to congratulate Coach Shelley Grimes at Brookwood Elementary School and Rylee Baxter at Enterprise High School for making it to the Sweet Sixteen!


The 2024-2025 Alabama Teacher of the Year will be announced May 8th, and we wish these two educators the best!

City of Enterprise Updates

Festival in the Park Returns for its 25th Year!

Festival in the Park, the largest free community event in Enterprise, returns Saturday, May 4 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Johnny Henderson Family Park.


“This event started back in 1999 and has grown and evolved over the years into something that has become a signature event in our community,” Billy Powell, Director of Community Services and Recreation, said. “This festival is a way for us to not only thank our community for their support of Enterprise Parks and Recreation, but to provide a family-friendly event at no cost to our citizens.”


The festival will include pony rides, a petting zoo, train rides, arts and crafts, face painting, inflatables and more! Click here to read all about the festivities!

60+ It's Your Time to Shine!

Let's Luau and join the Enterprise Senior Center for their Open House on Saturday, May 11th from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.!

This FREE event will have fun games, activities, food & drinks plus informational booths! Click here to learn more!

Join VISIT ENTERPRISE inside the Pea River Historical Society Building (108 S. Main Street) and enjoy a walking tour of historic downtown Enterprise led by local Enterprise historians.


The hour-long tour is FREE and will begin promptly at 10 a.m.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS

N Erin Street Closure

A portion of the road behind Enterprise City Hall will be closed next week for utility work. North Erin Street, from Mill Avenue to Corbin Street, will be closed April 23 and 24. Barricades will be set up and detours will be clearly marked.
