Upcoming Common Council Meetings 

 

Since Mayor Brown released the public review draft of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) in May, the Mayor's Office of Strategic Planning has been hard at work holding dozens of meetings and evaluating the substantial input it has received from citizens across Buffalo. Now, staff are hard at work making revisions to the draft ordinance in preparation for submitting the document to the Common Council later this autumn, which will start the adoption process.

 

To help bring more information to the public and gather further input in specific neighborhoods, members of the Common Council have coordinated with OSP to arrange a series of community conversations about the UDO. So far Green Code meetings have been held for the University, Masten, and Delaware Council Districts. In the coming weeks, the following meetings have been scheduled:

 

Ellicott District Green Code Meeting

Mon., Sept. 8, 6:00 pm

Pratt Willert Community Center, 422 Pratt St

 

Lovejoy District Green Code Meeting

Wed., Sept. 10, 6:30 pm

Autumnwood Senior Center, 1800 Clinton St.

 

Niagara District Green Code Meeting

Tues., Sept. 16, 6:00 pm

West Side Community Services, 161 Vermont St

 

Fillmore District Green Code Meeting

Thurs., Sept. 18, 6:00 pm

Matt Urban Center, 1081 Broadway

 

North District Green Code Meeting

Wednesday, Sept. 24
