About the 2016-2017 Club Women's Lacrosse Team!
The defending WCLA DII National Champions, the University of Denver Club Women's Lacrosse team, has seen a very successful season so far.
 
Our team has grown to over 30 athletes, giving us an amazing group of dedicated players and students. Despite the huge storm that canceled the majority of our games in Santa Barbara in February, we were still able to play the games we needed to make it to Regionals. Currently, we are ranked No. 1 in the nation for our division, with an impressive record of 8-2! 

What's Next
Right now, our team is working hard to prepare for Regionals and Nationals. We are practicing three days a week to ensure that we are as ready as possible to capture the national title for the second year in a row.
 
On April 14-16 we will head to Fort Collins, Colorado for Regionals, where we will hopefully claim the regional title and also secure our bid to the National Championship in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 10-13.

We Need Your Help!
Traveling with a big team is costly and we need your help to get us to Nationals!
 
Although we have been working hard to fundraise for our program all year, the generosity from alumni, friends and family helps us afford hotels, rental cars and tournament entry fees. Your support is greatly appreciated and we couldn't do it without you. Hopefully we will return from Salt Lake City in May as National Champions, and we will have you to thank!
 
Any donation to our team is considered a gift to the University of Denver and is tax deductible.
