Support The Seniors

In Your Life

Please join the SALT (Senior and Law Enforcement Together) Council on Thursday, November 9 for an informative educational symposium. SALT Council aligns with United Way of West Central Connecticut's initiatives of health, education, and financial stability, by bringing together law enforcement, community partners and senior community members, to identify ways to ensure seniors remain healthy, informed, and free from fraud and scams.

The event is open to all - seniors, caregivers, those who have elder adults they care about, and those working in the field. No need to register - walk-ins are welcome.

Ways YOU Can Support

Your Community

Joy of Sharing:

Feed the Need Food Drive

November 15 - 17

Gather your friends, family, co-workers, and folks from the community to help Feed the Need in our four towns. This food drive is unique in that it benefits food pantries, shelters, and other organizations that assist in eliminating food insecurity in our communities.

Joy of Sharing - Toy Drive

December 4 - 6

Bring some holiday cheer to children and families in our four towns. This new toy drive, for children ages 3 to 14, provides toys to families who need extra support this holiday season. Toys are distributed to area agencies who apply for assistance.
