United Women in Faith -3 conferences

Conference Unification Update

To the United Women in Faith of the Central Texas, North Texas, and Northwest Texas Conferences,

Most of your experience as a member of United Women in Faith (UWFaith) is probably in a local group, likely with other women at your church. Your local group of United Women in Faith is part of a geographical District with District UWFaith officers that provide support such as training, social action opportunities, and spiritual growth events. Your District, and other Districts, are part of an even larger area called a Conference, which also has Conference officers. Your Conference Leadership Team supports local groups and districts by providing educational and leadership development opportunities, hosting soul care and social justice events, promoting Mission Giving, and more.

Our three Conferences are preparing to become one in a process called Unification.

3 Conf Unification

We know that you have lots of questions, so we have prepared answers for you here: https://uwfnorthtexas.org/unification_faqs

If you have questions not listed on the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, please reply to this email and let us know the question. We'll do our best to add the question and answer on that page quickly.

Next, we want and need your input.

Nominations are now being taken for the 2025 new unified Conference Leadership Team. The new conference Committee on Nominations (CON) is made up of three women from each of our current conferences, plus the CON you elected last fall at your Annual Meeting. They will all work together this summer to create a slate of officers with women from our current conferences to represent all of us and our diversity. Your nominations are needed!

Volunteer yourself or suggest someone you know. The deadline for your nominations is June 20th - just one month away.

To submit a nomination just click on the name of the CON chair from your current conference. A simple form will appear for you to easily submit your nomination.

The underlined names in orange are email links. You may click on any of these links to send that person an email. A new email will automatically open, already addressed to that person.

We look forward to going into the future with all of you.

Blessings,
