Congregational Listening Session

September 8, 2024, 11:15am

Rev Denis and Nancy Richman will conduct a listening session with congregants about our music program as we begin a search for our new Music Director. This follows a meeting we will have had with the choir in August.

As we all have an interest in the person who comes next, we’d like to hear your thoughts about what you’d like to see in the next Music Director – the person, the position, and the music. Our music sets the tone for our most important hour of the week together as a faith community, thus listening to our choir and congregation are essential before we begin our formal search.

REMINDERS

ARE YOU PREPARING FOR SURGERY?

Our congregation has members who were trained by Peggy Huddleston to offer her workshop entitled "Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster: A Guide of Mind-Body Techniques." That is the name of her book, also, which is available in our library. In the workshop, you will practice deep relaxation and the visioning of positive end results. You may borrow or buy her book and CD that you will use at home for 20 minutes twice a day starting two weeks before surgery. We have heard many stories about how helpful this program is.

If you would like to make an appointment, please call Val Follett at 789-7282 or email at valeriefollett@gmail.com
